About Our Dublin English Centre

Established in 1989, our English Centre in Dublin originally began as an executive training centre, offering advanced management and technical courses in English for non-native speakers. Over the years, we've evolved to provide a wide range of General English courses, with a strong emphasis on Business and Specialised Programmes.

Our school is conveniently situated at two central locations: 4 North Great George's Street and 31 Gardiner Place. Our students have easy access to the city's vibrant attractions, including museums, galleries, restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping areas, and historical sites.

Our Students

Studying an English course in Dublin means you'll be part of a diverse, multicultural environment throughout your learning journey. Our Dublin English courses attract students from all over the world, creating a welcoming atmosphere for your experience.

Last year, we had 52 nationalities studying with us, ensuring a rich mix in our classes.



*Non-EU students enrolling in our Academic Year in Ireland course can also work while studying, with the option to work up to 20 hours per week during the course and up to 40 hours during fixed holiday periods, including May to August and December to January.


  • The Student Services team here at Twin works hard to make sure all students have a safe, enjoyable experience at our Dublin English language school, both in and outside of the classroom.

    A 15:1 student-to-staff ratio during lessons
    A 24-hour emergency contact number
    A safeguarding Lead on duty in each Centre at all times
    Police checks carried out on all staff

For students under 18, we ensure that;

A high level of support is provided, including a separate induction and weekly welfare tutorials
Parents/guardians are informed of lateness or unauthorised absence from class

Please note that if you are aged 16/17 and enrol on one of our courses, you will join a class of adult students. Students aged 16/17 are not normally supervised outside of class time and will be responsible for their own safety, although Twin will provide guidelines.
