Core Module Information
Designed to underscore the vital role of advertising and marketing in the success of commercial products.
Students acquire a fundamental understanding of various theories and concepts in media analysis.
Enhance research and analysis skills by examining advertising production and exploring the relationship between the audience and the campaign.
Improve digital marketing analysis of visual and written content in newspapers & magazines, including the political learnings and bias.
Understand complex sustainability challenges in Media, guided by the United Nation's Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) goals and apply a disciplinary/multidisciplinary approach to solving them.
Develop project planning, management, and effective communication skills for addressing real-world sustainability challenges within disciplinary/multidisciplinary teams.
Designed to provide students with a comprehensive opportunity to develop filmmaking product techniques, whilst engaging in a thorough exploration of fundamental film principles.
Students develop skills in all aspects of filmmaking, from idea development to the final realisation of a film outcome.
Students also achieve production skills exploring camera techniques and lighting, and digital post-production techniques.
This module helps you develop comprehensive language proficiency and equips you with the academic skills to succeed in university studies. This includes academic writing, critical reading, effective listening, and confident speaking. You will also learn valuable research techniques, referencing skills, and strategies for presentations.
