Flexible Hosting
Choose when to host students so that it suits your schedule. Update your availability on our online homestay portal once you join us.
Weekly Payments
Focus on hosting while we handle the admin! We pay hosts weekly, and the money you earn will depend on the service you are able to offer.
What Is Expected From Homestay Hosts?
- Warm, safe home environment
- Sensitivity to cultural needs
- Private bedroom with single bed (per student)
- Study space and storage
- Access to communal areas
- Daily bathroom use
- Provision of meals on a Bed & Breakfast, half-board or full-board basis
- English communication during meals (eating meals with them when providing half or full-board)
- Door key for adult students
- Weekly laundry service
- Towels and bed linen provided and changed weekly
- Possible transportation support (in some cases, students will need picking up and dropping off daily at a local agreed point)
- Compliance with English UK's Homestay Code of Practice
