Core modules - You will study all of the following core modules:
This module provides a comprehensive understanding of business, management, and organisational behaviour in diverse contexts. You will develop creative and entrepreneurial thinking to tackle business challenges and opportunities, with an emphasis on ethical awareness. You will also gain essential skills in management, decision-making, problem-solving, critical analysis, and effective business communication.
This module aims to enhance your understanding of statistics and its application to complex sustainability challenges in science, engineering, and business. Aligning with the United Nations’ Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) goals, it teaches you to apply statistical expertise to real-world problems while developing your project planning, management, and effective communication skills.
This module provides you with thorough training in the language and related academic skills which will enable you to achieve your academic potential at university. You will develop awareness and competency in a range of language-related skills required for successful university study, including academic writing, effective reading strategies, how to participate in seminars and deliver presentations, and listening to and recording information effectively from lectures. You will learn how to communicate accurately in written and spoken English with clarity and confidence.

This module provides you with a strong foundation in mathematical modelling and core mathematics skills, preparing you for undergraduate study in subjects with a significant mathematical focus. It enhances your mathematical skills and problem-solving techniques while developing your ability to assimilate and communicate highly technical information.
